The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź, commonly known as Łódź Film School was established in 1948 and is considered as one of the oldest and most prestigious film schools in the world. It places special emphasis on practical work in its teaching program. Each year the Lodz Film School is ranked amongst the top best schools according to “The Hollywood Reporter”.
Students achieve practical and theoretical knowledge, and shoot their own projects on 35mm film under artistic guidance of acclaimed Polish and international filmmakers.
